You should do what scares you
By Sérgio Ferrás

After a very difficult personal phase, I’ve been extremely scared of posting online.
I didn’t feel “entitled”. I felt like people would judge me, and mock me.
It’s unbelievable to see how much power we give others, instead of taking control of our own life and our own destiny.
We tend to give in to our fears, instead of facing them.
But growth only happens when we face our own fears.
Hell, sometimes it’s as easy as just naming them!
Recently, I simply made a list of all the things that I was afraid off.
- My team will leave me
- My friends will judge me
- My family will be mad at me
- My clients will criticize me
- My company will fail
- And so on…
And all of these things keep us trapped
The moment we give in to one fear, we tend to give in to all others!
We lose confidence in ourselves, and therefore no longer have power over what we do.
Now, I’m getting back to facing my fears!
I wanna share my story, so I connect with like minded people, build a great network and maybe help someone with the lessons I learn along the way!
